Village Hall
The Village is fortunate in having a very useful and well-maintained Hall which is used for a wide range of activities and functions. Hire charges are very reasonable, and good facilities are available.  The hall is always looking for more regular or private bookings.  It is managed by a committee of village residents, who oversee the general running of the hall. Although the committee is under no obligation to do so, they and others organise fund raising events to cover running costs and to pay for improvements to the building. Plans have been made to develop the hall.

We can do no better than repeat a recent notice:
“Village Hall facilities and Charges. …. why not plan a large dinner party, and hire the Billiards Room? Having a party? Hire the whole hall at great rates. The crockery & cutlery all match, and there are 80 full place settings! The Hall has a premises licence, so you can have live music, and a pay bar licence can easily be obtained. ………. The Billiards Room is also a great space for private business meetings, and we have details of caterers who use the kitchens regularly.”

The management committee organizes a 200 Club every month with prizes of £25 and £10.
